Crystal currently has a Bachelors degree from Troy University in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources management and a minor in Dance. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Troy and was a Sound of the South Majorette while at Troy. She began her dance career in Dothan, Alabama and studied with Ron Devane, Terri Devane Granger, and Patti Rutland Simpson; just to name a few. She then continued her education at Florida State, University of Alabama, and Troy. She has also studied with great artists such as Joe Lanteri, Joe Tremaine, Mia Michaels, Gregory Russell, Finis Jhung, Bill Evans, Desiree Robbins, Joe Rowan, Larraine Susa, Mignon Furman and many more. She also continues her education today in order to learn new techniques and methods for teaching and performing. She has students that are current company members at Gus Giordano Jazz Company and other dance companies around the nation. She has students that have been accepted to the Northwest Florida Ballet Summer Intensive program on Scholarship, ABT, and are current members of Andalusia Ballet Company. She has students that have won state and national awards for their solo dances. She has dancers on the Enterprise High School Danceline, in Expressions, Espree, and Encores; as well as former members of Entertainers. She has taught and coached 2 University of Alabama Majorettes, 1 University of Alabama Birmingham majorette, and several Troy University majorettes and danceline members. She also choreographs for area majorette and dancelines; including Wicksburg High School and Dale County High School. Last year, her danceline and majorette choreography for the Wicksburg band won Best in Class at 5 different band competitions, including the Sugar Bowl band Festival in New Orleans. She also coaches for pageants and is a qualified pageant judge.

Karen Alewine - Ballet/ Tap/ Jazz/ Modern/ Lyrical
Karen has a bachelor's degree in Dance with a concentration in Movement Analysis and Therapies and a minor in Business Administration from Coker College. She began dancing at age 10 with Performing Dance Arts in Huntsville, AL. She continued to train there until leaving for college in 2002. While in college, Karen attended the American College Dance Festival, where she was exposed to a variety of styles taught by some of the best educators in the U.S. She has performed with DanzArtz Co!, Pointe Station, Inc., Images Dance Ensemble, Coker Repertory Dance Company, Columbia Classical Ballet, and the Troy University Dance Program. Karen has also taught at Performing Dance Arts, Caroline Mack Center for the Arts, Coker College, the South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics, Brenda Cranford School of Dance, School of Dance Arts, and the Dance Center. In addition, she coached the dance team at the South Carolina School for Science and Mathematics. Karen's awards include 1st place top score senior solo at Dance Educators of America.
