Hello! My name is Ella Colagross, and I’m from Muscle Shoals, AL. I grew up dancing at My Girls Dance Center in Moulton, AL. I’ve been dancing for 16 years, competing for 13, and teaching for the past 7 years. I’ve had the opportunity to train under the direction of:
Erin Smith, Shannon Kaminski, Julie Carter, Mackenzie Gaddy, Brea Colagross, and lots of other amazing choreographers and teachers!
I enjoy all styles of dance, but tap will always be my favorite! Some of my dance accomplishments include National Senior Solo Champion, Highest Scoring Elite Act, being an Artist of the Year Nominee, and being an Inspire Crew Member. I was also honored to be named the 2025 Distinguished Young Woman of Colbert County. Now as a sophomore at Troy, I’m so excited to continue growing as both a dancer and a teacher. I love working with students, building their confidence, and watching them improve. I can’t wait to meet everyone and be a part of such an amazing dance community!
