Macie Holsonback-Deal - Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Musical Theater
Macie will be teaching our 9-11 Ballet, Tap, and Jazz classes and the Musical Theater class on Mondays!
Macie Holsonback-Deal started her dance journey at the age of two and has been dancing since! As she continued her dance education, she later became a competitive dancer, competing all throughout the south. During her competitive years, she won various awards, overall placements, and was able to meet with several talent agents specializing in the entertainment industry. Macie, also attended several conventions, and master classes during those years. After graduating high school, Macie attended ESCC, Where she was given the opportunity to serve as dance captain of the “ESCC Power Performers” dance team for two years. She was also given the opportunity to choreograph a couple of pieces for the “Entertainers” and worked as an assistant choreographer for the ESCC Fine Arts production of “Annie”. While continuing to teach dance through college, Macie realized how big her passion was for dance. Macie, has spent several years teaching, choreographing, and coaching in the south. Her students have placed in the top five, top three and received various awards and overall placements in competitions. In the midst of all this, Macie has still continued her own ballet education through the “Andalusia Ballet”. Macie says, “Dance is continuously changing; therefore you can never stop learning”. While Macie specializes in many genres of dance Lyrical/Contemporary and a variety of Jazz remain as her favorites. Macie, continues to share her passion of dance all throughout the south, working with several studios as a teacher, choreographer and director.
