Taryn Hamilton- Company Ballet/ Pointe/ 4/5 Ballet and tap and Preballet

My name is Taryn Adams and I've been dancing for 19 years. Kathy Burke, at Kelly School of Dance (KSD), began teaching me when I was two and then was also my competition teacher for the 10 years I was a part of competition team. We traveled to many different cities in the neighboring states, including Mobile, Biloxi, Birmingham, and New Orleans. We competed at different competitions including, Access Broadway, Platinum, and DMI and won several overalls in all of our categories. I taught jazz, ballet, technique, lyrical, musical theater, tap, and stretch and turns for four years at KSD. During my first year of teacher I traveled with to Pittsburgh and trained under many amazing dancers, including Mrs. Janice Barringer, for three days at a teacher's convention. "Teaching young dancers isn't just a job, it's a passion."
