Tuition & Registration - ALL registration fees, tuition, recital fees, costumes, etc. are non-refundable.
A $30 annual registration fee and the first month’s tuition (Aug. 2018) must be received in order to reserve a student’s place in class. If you register, you are considered to be enrolled for the full term (Aug. - May)
All tuition is due the 10th of the month. There is a $15 late fee for tuition not paid by the 10th of the month and each month after that tuition was due, if it has not been paid. WE DO NOT SEND MONTHLY STATEMENTS, EXCEPT TO OVERDUE ACCOUNTS. All payments received are applied to outstanding charges in the order in which they were billed. No exceptions.
Payment methods include: online payments through the Parent Portal, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, cash and check.
Monthly tuition is figured on an average number of classes per month. Tuition is the same if the studio is closed for a holiday or if your child misses a lesson; therefore, we do not charge extra when there are five lessons in a month. The tuition rate is for the entire season (August - May). It is NOT based on the number of classes during a month, but on the entire duration of our season. Some months will have more/ fewer classes, but tuition charges remain the same. No refunds or deductions are given if a student misses a class for any reason. Makeup classes are available for missed lessons. Please contact the office for more information.
We will be closed for Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break.
Individual classes may be taken at $12.00 per hour.
Private lessons may be scheduled through the office for $50.00 per hour.
Students are encouraged to study more than one form of dance. Experience has proven that students taking two or more forms of dance, progress at a much greater speed and have a longer interest period.
Card on File:
All accounts must keep a valid credit or debit card on file with Center Stage Dance Studio.
We will automatically charge your card on file for the $30.00 registration fee per student and 1st month's tuition.
Account holders may choose to have regular tuition payments automatically charged on the first of each month. This setting can be changed at any time in the Parent Portal.
If an account becomes 90 days overdue the account holder authorizes Center Stage Dance Studio to charge the card on file for the past due amount. CSD will notify the account holder before processing the payment.

Military Discount = 5% Discount for active or retired with military id.
Recital Expenses - Students will purchase one costume for each subject they are enrolled in that usually costs approximately $65.00 each, plus tax. Combo classes (4/5 ballet/ tap) will have a combo costume. The cost will be $85 plus taxes ($92.65). All costume fees will be posted to accounts in October and are due by December 1st.
Company costumes may be slightly higher due to their having more elaborate costumes. Company costume fees are due in October.
Tights and shoes are additional. Tights will be ordered automatically for each student at the cost of $14.00 plus tax ($15.26) for child sizes and $16.00 plus tax ($17.44) for adult sizes. Tights are charged in January along with the recital fee of $30.
All students will also be charged a $30.00 recital fee in January that assists in the tremendous financial undertaking that C.S.D. assumes when producing a production of this magnitude. All class pictures will be in the recital program at no charge. This fee assists with the costs of producing a professional show: facility rental, music editing, lighting, sound, technical crews, and all other production needs.
Other optional recital related costs include: program ads that feature individual students pictures, t-shirts, videos, pictures, recital souvenir programs and tickets.
Accounts must be paid in full to participate in the Recital.
All students that participate in the recital are required to attend all rehearsals the week of recital.
Drop Policy - Students should only add or drop a class at the end of a month since tuition will not be prorated. If at any time you need to withdraw, you must NOTIFY THE OFFICE IN WRITING prior to the withdrawal. A 30-day notice is required for all withdrawals. Non-attendance is not considered withdrawal from class. Monthly charges continue and tuition is due until we receive written notification of withdrawal. If a student drops mid month, the current tuition will NOT be refunded, due to that student taking up a spot in class that another student could have occupied for the entire year. There is a drop fee of $10.00 per class if a class is dropped from one month to the next. At the beginning of the year, you may change your schedule without a penalty if you do it by September 1st. After that time, the drop fee will be enforced. Once enrolled, you have reserved a class slot. This slot is yours whether you attend class or not. You are therefore responsible for tuition whether you attend or not.
Other Fees - There is a $35.00 charge for all returned checks. Students must be picked up promptly after class or a $10.00 fee will be charged to your account if you are more than 15 minutes late (to pay the teacher who stayed overtime with your child.)
